About Dr. Paresh Prakash

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kharagpur.

I started Physics through Problem Solving because I kept meeting strong, capable students who found Grade 11 Physics harder than it needed to be. The free Readiness Assessment isn't a separate pre-course. It's how I quickly spot exactly where a student's foundation is shaky, whether that's vectors, trigonometry, or graph-based reasoning, so I can close those gaps while teaching the actual SPH3U and SPH4U curriculum itself, from the very first real session.

My approach is simple: identify exactly where a student's foundation is shaky, fix that specifically, and then teach the physics itself through problem solving rather than memorization. That's the same way engineering programs actually expect you to think.

I coach students 1:1, in person, at Glen Abbey Library in Oakville, covering the full Ontario SPH3U (Grade 11) and SPH4U (Grade 12) curriculum for students heading toward engineering and other STEM programs.
