About Paresh Prakash
I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kharagpur.
I started Physics through Problem Solving because I kept meeting strong, capable students who found Grade 11 Physics harder than it needed to be — not because the concepts were beyond them, but because the course assumes a level of comfort with vectors, trigonometry, and graph-based reasoning that many students simply haven't had a chance to build yet.
My approach is simple: identify exactly where a student's foundation is shaky, fix that specifically, and then teach the physics itself through problem solving rather than memorization — the same way engineering programs actually expect you to think.
I coach students 1:1, in person, at Glen Abbey Library in Oakville, covering the full Ontario SPH3U (Grade 11) and SPH4U (Grade 12) curriculum for students heading toward engineering and other STEM programs.
